The Big D&T Christmas Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these competition terms and our general website Terms & Conditions.

  1. Eligibility
    • The giveaway is open to teachers and schools in the UK only.
    • Employees of The Design & Technology Association, prize-donating companies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  2. Entry period
    • The giveaway opens on 1st December 2025 at 00:01 GMT and closes on 14th December 2025 at 23:59 GMT.
    • Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
  3. How to enter
    • Follow The Design & Technology Association on social media.
    • Like the giveaway post.
    • Tag a colleague or comment with your favourite D&T project or idea.
    • Multiple entries are allowed, but each must be a separate comment/tag.
    • This giveaway will be taking place across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  4. Prizes
    • There are three prize bundles in total, each donated by a participating company.
    • Prize details will be listed in the giveaway posts.
    • Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.
  5. Winner selection and notification
    • Winners will be selected randomly from all valid entries after the closing date.
    • Winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform they entered, within one week of the closing date.
    • Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If no response is received, an alternate winner will be selected.
  6. Prize delivery
    • Prizes will be sent directly by the donating company to the winners in the New Year 2026.
    • The Design & Technology Association is not responsible for delivery delays once prizes have been dispatched by the donor.
  7. Data and privacy
    • Entrants’ personal data will only be used for administering the giveaway and contacting winners.
    • By entering, participants consent to their names and photos being used for promotion if they win.
  8. Liability
    • The Design & Technology Association and prize-donating companies accept no responsibility for lost, damaged, or delayed prizes.
    • The giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the social media platforms used to enter.
  9. General conditions
    • The Design & Technology Association reserves the right to amend or cancel the giveaway in exceptional circumstances.
    • Decisions of The Design & Technology Association regarding the giveaway are final.
