25 years as a Head of Department in 3 London schools.
11 years as an Advanced Skills Teacher in Design & Technology.
Taught at all key stages 1-5 and on GTP & GCSE training
Trainer for ProDESKTOP CAD/CAM
Taught mainly Design, Graphics, Resistant Materials and Systems and Control at GCSE level and BTEC and Diploma at level 2.
Taught A level Design & Technology, moderated and examined A level exams for a range of exam boards.
Taught and Lead Verifier for BTEC in Construction and the Built Environment.
Founded the Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment for Enfield and Barnet Consortium and worked as Principal Assessor.
Worked with London Challenge to improve delivery and teaching in several Design & Technology departments. Raising standards and improving grades in partner schools.
Worked with many primary schools on practical projects as AST.
Worked as a moderator in many Design & Technology subjects at GCSE and A level for different examination boards since 1987.
Worked as GNVQ visiting assessor for Art & Design on vocational courses.
Worked as Quality Nominee in school for BTEC courses.
Worked on the Executive Committee of the NAAIDT for 8 years.
Presently the London Regional co-ordinator for the Working Consultants Group for Design & Technology and the Design and Technology Association.
Working as a technician at East Barnet School and coordinator of the London STEM into action programme for North London
Registered Health and Safety Consultant.
