Full day, face to face course in Banbury

 
This full day practical course, aims to help improve teacher confidence in the ‘technical knowledge’ aspect of the KS1 & 2 National Curriculum Programmes of Study. Develop skills with mechanisms, structures, electronics, textiles and more during this busy day of learning at the D&T Association training centre in Banbury.

 

Course Objectives:

  • To incorporate high quality practical activities into the curriculum for KS1 and KS2 that have clear intent and purpose
  •  Develop your knowledge and skills with mechanisms, structures, electronics, textiles and more
  • Gain confidence to implement practical activities in the classroom

By participating in this course, you will learn:

  • Practical D&T skills/knowledge
  • Sketching and communication skills
  • Improved confidence with a range of materials and techniques
