A range of National Strategies materials including video examples of students speaking and listening teachers will find helpful in assessing their students’ levels and progression. This pack includes: Why use APPs? (Assessing Pupils’ Progress) example videos to accompany the training materials for speaking and listening. A further two sets of videos are available in packs #4 and #5. Crown copyright 2010.
The resources included are from the previous National Curriculum and contain examples and information on levels that are no longer applied in the 2014 curriculum. However, these remain useful tools for teachers to establish baselines and progress in students’ skills levels.
