Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Initial Teacher Trainee (ITT) looking for support and resources in Design & Technology?

In this session, we will explore practical advice and guidance to help ITT trainees navigate the job-seeking and interview process.

We will cover:

  • Where and how to search for suitable roles
  • Key “green flags” to look for when visiting schools
  • Professional expectations and good practice for applications and interviews
  • What to expect at each stage of the interview process

We will also be joined by Headteacher and Design and Technology Teacher, Jim Smith from Silverdale School, Sheffield, discussing what he looks for from a candidate during interview.
