An exclusive session on 'Sketching & Rendering in Concept Design'. This e-learning masterclass will take D&T teachers through the process of concept design at Seymourpowell. With a focus on sketching and rendering, see how Dick Powell and Neil Baron produce ideas, their techniques when presenting ideas to clients, and how they move from paper to digital. You will pick up tips and tricks along the way to allow you to develop your own skills and be able to pass them on to your students. Work your way through the content at your own pace. Throughout the course you will have the opportunity to carry out a range of focused practical tasks to help develop your skills and expertise to allow you to confidently deliver and communicate visually in the classroom. This is the first of our industry-led 'masterclasses' where you can learn from experts in their field. An amazing addition to our range of E-Learning CPD courses available for teachers 

Masterclass objectives:

  • Introduction to sketching
  • How to work with shadows, highlights and reflections to add depth and realism
  • Using markers to apply colour
  • Using underlays and other support
  • Utilising digital media

 Whilst participating in this masterclass, you will:

  • Carry out focused practical tasks that will develop your skills and expertise to take back to your students
  • Have access to video tutorials and downloadable resources created with Dick Powell
  • Receive an electronic certificate and validated digital badge to demonstrate your completion of D&T Masterclass
