STEM Racing Discovery

STEM Racing Discovery

An all-in-one classroom project that is suitable from age 6+, STEM Racing Discovery introduces students to the principles of design, test, make and race with an engaging and interactive programme of work.

Containing everything you need to bring STEM learning - and racing - to your school, STEM Racing Discovery is your one-stop-shop for an interactive classroom project. We’ve taken care of everything, so you can focus on what you do best: teaching, inspiring, and motivating the next generation of engineers and pioneers.

A Multidisciplinary Project

Through a sequenced six-stage learning journey, segmented into Units of Work, pupils gain insight into a variety of subject areas - from optimising a car’s design for aerodynamics and manufacturing a chassis to building a brand that people will remember.

Free Resources

Designed for easy implementation, STEM Racing Discovery offers a suite of free student resources and worksheets, alongside a detailed Teachers’ Guide filled with lesson plans and learning objectives to ensure you can deliver the programme with confidence and ease.

Easy-to-Use Equipment

A roll-out racetrack sets up in moments, and a foot-powered air pump provides a fun and sustainable way to launch the cars. Pupils use pre-cut paper chassis, wheels, and axles to build their own designs - meaning there’s no need to print or prepare materials.
