Curriculum Review – Call for Evidence
Published 30th September 2024
Over the course of the last year or longer, the Design & Technology Association has been working with the Design Council, NSEAD and others to define a clear and concise set of requests for the new government.
The Curriculum and Assessment Review Body, chaired by Professor Becky Francis, recently called for evidence from all parties interested in potentially informing and affecting the outcomes of this review. All responses must be with the review body no later than the 22nd of November. The call for evidence can be found here.
The review body welcomes evidence from both individuals and organisations. Rest assured that the Association will be submitting a full response, which will be richly informed by the work that we have carried out over the last three years, specifically working to gather the opinions of teachers and industry leaders.
We are inviting you to ensure your voice is heard and your feedback is included. Click here to fill in this short survey.
You are, of course, at liberty to submit your own response to the call for evidence, but if there are any points not covered by our reimagining report or by our work with the Design Council and partner groups report ‘A Blueprint for renewal – Design and Technology Education’ Please do contact us with your thoughts at info@designtechnology.org.uk no later than Friday the 18th of October.
