Published 1st April 2025

Tesco and our partner easyfundraising have come together again to help you get the new term off to a fund-tastic start. Imagine the difference £1,000 could make to their learning experience…

Tesco Bright Future Fund – exclusive to schools and nurseries

This month, if your staff and parents shop with Tesco via the easyfundraising website or app, your school will receive free cashback donations AND have a chance to receive one of FIVE £1,000 funding pots!

  1. Firstly, register your school with easyfundraising at https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/dt-association/
  2. Ask parents and staff to join in support – you will be given access to ready-made resources to help you do this!
  3. Encourage them to shop with Tesco via easyfundraising by 30th September. Each time one of them does so, your school has a better chance of securing £1,000

Plus, when your supporters shop with Tesco this month, they’ll raise £10 for you if it’s their first-time shop, and 50p for each subsequent shop they do* at no extra cost, all courtesy of Tesco.

Make easyfundraising part of your plans this term

Over 8,000 online retailers, including Tesco, will give free donations to your school when your community shop with them – with more than £1.1m raised for schools and nurseries using easyfundraising in 2025 so far! Don’t miss out.

The Design & Technology Association teams up with easyfundraising to help boost your D&T budget

Our partnership with easyfundraising is a simple way for schools to raise money for design and technology resources – all through everyday online shopping.

We know that finding funds for essential D&T tools, materials and equipment is harder than ever. But now there’s an easy, sustainable and completely free way to help. When parents, teachers and supporters shop online via easyfundraising at one of 8,000+ participating retailers, your school receives a donation – at no extra cost to them.

Retailers include trusted names like Amazon, eBay, Just Eat, Argos, Tesco, M&S, John Lewis, Etsy, Screwfix, Moonpig and many more. In 2024 alone, schools received over £1.5 million in free funding – and over £16 million has already been raised in total. With more than 10,000 schools already involved, don’t miss out on your school’s share.

How it works

It couldn’t be simpler. Imagine a parent buying a birthday gift from Argos. Instead of going straight to the website, they first visit easyfundraising, click through to Argos, and then shop as usual. That’s it. A percentage of their purchase is donated to your school.

This works with over 8,000 retailers – from supermarkets and travel companies to insurance providers – and with each purchase, your D&T department gains valuable funds to invest where you need them most.

Join today and start raising

This is your chance to support your D&T provision in a way that doesn’t involve bake sales or grant forms. Just sign up at easyfundraising.org.uk/dt-association, register your school, and start collecting free donations every time someone shops online.

Together, we can keep design and technology thriving in your school – and give your pupils the tools to invent, create and succeed.
