Teachers across the Midlands are being invited to give their pupils an inspiring day of hands-on STEM experiences this September, as Forces in STEM returns to the RAF Museum Midlands for its fifth year.

Explore the cutting-edge world of STEM at the RAF Museum Midlands

Taking place on Wednesday 24th September 2025, the event is delivered in partnership with the Royal Air Force Youth STEM team and will showcase the fantastic work being carried out by companies and institutions innovating, researching and manufacturing across the STEM spectrum.

Schools and home educated groups with pupils in Years 5 and 6 are invited to join an interactive day of STEM discovery, including over 25 hands-on activities and an interactive STEM show.

Spaces for this popular event are limited, with a maximum of 120 students per booking. Teachers should also be aware that separate tickets are required for both general admission and the interactive STEM show—both must be pre-booked. Entrance to the museum will only be permitted with general admission tickets, even if show tickets have been booked. Likewise, show tickets are required to attend the STEM show.
