Help Shape the Future of KS3 D&T

We are delighted with the download figures for our Inspired by Industry contexts and by the verbal feedback received from so many schools and department leaders to date. We worked closely with business and industry to create these resources in order to help change some of the pedagogy at KS3 away from fixating on "finished products" and more on a way of helping students to think and work.

We have secured funding from Enginuity, AtkinsRéalis and AssetTagz to engage Nottingham Trent University to define the impact of these materials over the next eighteen months. We have a number of schools that have already stepped forward to volunteer to assist with this research (a process that will not be demanding or time hungry, but we believe will be of huge benefit to each department involved), but we need a few more before kicking the research programme off in advance of the summer break.
