How to use the map
Print out the map and put it in a prominent place where students can pause and consider their options. The map is coloured according to a D&T focus area (electronics, food, textiles, product design etc) with possible industries and potential jobs along the lines and stations. There may be routes here that students have not considered before and this will prompt them to ask about the options they should take in D&T and which qualifications they should pursue.
