'Inspired by Industry' - Member Only Content
'Inspired by Industry' has been produced with leading design and manufacturing companies to support all D&T teachers with a suite of free KS3 resources to use in the classroom. By working on real-life contexts and learning from industry experts, it allows teachers of D&T to potentially shift how they deliver elements of KS3 in a way that aligns with elements of KS4 and beyond, replicating how many organisations design, prototype and test.
The additional curriculum support documents below will help you to deliver the individual 'Inspired by Industry' contexts and are free for D&T Association members. They have been created to complement the teaching of contexts and will be regularly added to.
- If you are already a member and have already downloaded a context you will find a suite of units here: Focus Tasks (FTs) and Investigative & Evaluative Activities (IEAs)

Have a look at our 'Inspired by Industry' coverage audit which can be used in conjunction with the Progression Framework coded objectives.
