Tomorrow is theirs to build - Samsung Solve for Tomorrow invites students to innovate

Published 5th November 2025

Design and technology teachers across the UK and Ireland have a new opportunity to inspire the next generation of innovators. Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is a free, curriculum-linked programme and national competition for 11 – 18 year-olds in secondary schools and colleges, designed to equip students with essential skills while tackling real-world problems.

Inspire creativity and problem-solving in your classroom

Through ready-to-use teaching resources, teachers can support students in developing creative thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Students are challenged to imagine, design, and prototype tech-for-good solutions, giving their ideas a chance to make a real impact.

Participants in the competition can win exciting prizes, including Samsung technology such as AI whiteboards, TVs, laptops, and earbuds. They will also have access to mentoring from industry experts, work experience opportunities, webinars, and national recognition for their ideas. Winning projects will even be showcased on the iconic Piccadilly Circus screen and highlighted across social media and national radio.

Teachers can get started by registering and downloading the Imagination Lab resource, packed with inspiration and guidance for students to explore innovative design. The first 500 teachers to register will also receive a free Imagination Toolbox*, delivered straight to their school.

The competition closes on the 1st February 2026, offering a unique chance for students to see their ideas recognised on a national stage and for teachers to enrich their classroom with hands-on, engaging design and technology projects.

Big ideas deserve big recognition, give your students the tools to start building tomorrow.
