UK Manufacturers Gear Up for Second Annual National Manufacturing Day

MAKE UK is gearing up for the second edition of the National Manufacturing Day. This event will witness manufacturers across the nation exhibit to local communities. This event will see manufacturers across the country open their doors to the public, inviting local communities to witness first-hand the captivating career avenues offered by a sector of global significance.

National Manufacturing Day aims to not only celebrate the accomplishments of the UK manufacturing industry but also offer participants an immersive experience of contemporary manufacturing practices.

Manufacturing is a cornerstone of the UK's economy and contributes £183 billion to the nation's output. The sector stands as the driving force behind 64% of the country's Research and Development endeavours and is responsible for over half of the UK's exported goods.
