The organisation is the City of London livery company and charity for the furnishing industry, bringing together individuals and businesses that represent the diverse, vibrant and creative UK furnishing sector.

Its purpose is to sustain a thriving British furnishing industry by championing a talented workforce and promoting the delivery of high quality products. At the same time, it provides support to those in need within the industry and to those who have served it in the past. This work is delivered through three core pillars: Education, Excellence and Welfare.
