I graduated in Mechanical Engineering and worked in industry before training to be a primary teacher. I worked in inner-city London primary schools, before joining a STEM education charity and becoming a local authority education consultant for The Learning Trust in Hackney.

I have 20 years’ experience as a local authority and independent education consultant, providing training and consultancy in science and D&T to primary schools who use the National Curriculum in England. In 2011, I set up Primary STEM Education Consultancy which has grown to become one of the most successful specialist primary science and D&T education consultancies in England.
