New Furniture Makers Exhibition

The New Furniture Makers Exhibition Exhibition returns to the City of London on 29th October, offering an inspiring platform for emerging designer-makers to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship.

Organised by The Furniture Makers’ Company, this prestigious one-day event brings together students from GCSE level through to recent graduates, celebrating the next generation of talent in furniture and design. It also provides a unique opportunity for young designers to connect with leading industry professionals, manufacturers, and established makers.

A highlight of the exhibition will be the Furniture Maker Awards, the student equivalent of the renowned Furniture Makers’ Guild Marks, recognising excellence in design, innovation, and craftsmanship. The most impressive entries, as selected by a panel of expert judges, will be on display at the event, showcasing the diversity and skill of this year’s participants.

Additional recognition will be given through the School Design Prize (sponsored by KI), further supporting and celebrating young design talent. Several outstanding submissions have already been received, reflecting the high calibre of creativity and ambition among this year’s entrants.
