Context Overview
Community Clothing is a British clothing brand, formed in 2016 by Scottish designer, Patrick Grant (also a judge on BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee). They produce clothes using ethically sourced fabrics and provide local employment for British workers.. As part of their ongoing mission to reduce plastic use, they are asking you to tackle the problem of ‘Plastic-free trainers’.

The free resource provides a comprehensive Design, Make, and Evaluate project, along with suggested Investigate and Evaluate tasks and relevant focused tasks. It covers areas such as product design, textiles, sustainability, material properties, ergonomics and manufacturing.
