Safe Use of Portable Power Tools (S9HS) - Initial Training Course (JP) 08/03/27

This course will enable participants to acquire H&S accreditation certification through a ‘hands on’ approach using a range of portable power tools to complete a series of set tasks. The equipment to be covered will include:

• Portable angle grinder
• Portable circular saw
• Portable biscuit cutter
• Portable reciprocating saw (jigsaw)
• Portable planning machine
• Portable router
• Table router

NB - No experience is necessary in using this equipment.

Please bring your own PPE, i.e. safety goggles, ear protection, an apron and appropriate footwear.

Refreshments will be provided but you will need to bring your own lunch.

The cost of this course is £230.00 (which includes the H&S accreditation fee).
