I’m Andy Dennis, an experienced Health and Safety trainer, registered with The Design and Technology Association to deliver practical Health and Safety courses in Design and Technology. I can visit your school to help you with the training you need on your machines, to help you follow best practice guidance and keep you and your students as safe as possible, while still enjoying the practical opportunities Design and Technology offers.
Before starting H&S training I taught Design and Technology in secondary schools for many years, including several as Head of Department in a Technology College. As well as leading good health and safety practice in a busy department I always focussed on high quality practical work, developing my own skills as well as those of a good many students and colleagues.
