A practising Design and Technology teacher with a specialism in Engineering, Kevin brings over 20 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and educational leadership. Throughout his career, he has successfully led departments, improved student outcomes, and driven whole-school improvement initiatives as a member of senior leadership teams. Alongside his school-based work, he delivers Design and Technology Initial Teacher Training (ITT) across Norfolk and Suffolk and contributes to the development of a future-focused DT curriculum for one of the country's largest multi-academy trusts.
Passionate about both teaching and research, Kevin completed a doctorate exploring the experiences of students studying vocational qualifications in school sixth forms. This research resulted in international publications focusing on student voice and its role in contemporary education.
Based in Essex, Kevin provides tailored DATA-accredited training to schools and organisations across the UK. Combining practical expertise with a deep understanding of the realities facing modern Design and Technology departments, his training is engaging, relevant, and designed to have an immediate impact on classroom practice.
