Neil is a very experienced consultant who has provided training across the country with workshop machinery, Food technology including Food Safety certification as well as Textiles for many years. He has trained many new teachers through PGCE and SCITT routes as well as working with those with many years of teaching experience. Neil was formerly a Design and Technology teacher and Head of Department in secondary schools and FE colleges teaching in all disciplines. Before becoming a teacher, Neil worked for many years in industry, is a time-served apprentice and is an Engineering university graduate.
He has also been active in all types of departmental planning and preparation for inspections and has advised on the layout of new design and technology/engineering workshops as well as carrying out audits for design and technology departments.
