This guide has been written to provide strategic guidance for preparing a scheme of work for the single subject Design and Technology GCSE. It does not provide a definitive scheme of work but a discussion of the key issues which need to be considered and a set of ‘tools for change’ which departments can use to develop a scheme of work that is appropriate for their situation.
